Signing up takes about a minute. You only need an email address and a way to pay. You don't need to upload your CIFAS report or give us any other personal details.
1. Enter your email
Go to advicifas.org/prokit/register, or choose See My Options on the Pro Kit page. Enter the email address you want to log in with and choose Next.
Underneath there is an optional box: "Please do not email me ADVICIFAS Pro Kit special offers." Ticking it stops the reminder emails we'd otherwise send if you don't finish signing up. It doesn't stop emails about your account or about directory updates.
2. Set a password
Your password must have:
- at least 8 characters
- at least one uppercase letter
- at least one number
Spaces can't be used and are removed as you type. Enter it twice and choose Next. Your account is created at this point, so if you stop here you can come back and carry on (see below).
3. Pay £3.99
The payment screen reads "£3.99 a month. Cancel whenever you want." You can pay with Apple Pay (on Apple devices), Google Pay (on other devices) or a debit or credit card. Choose Subscribe to pay. For the details, see Your first payment.
4. You're in
Once the payment goes through you'll see "You're all set". Choose Go to banking options to open the directory. We also send a welcome email, "Welcome to ADVICIFAS Pro Kit", with a View your options button that logs you straight in.
Pro Kit doesn't ask about your marker when you sign up. If you'd like the directory ranked for your needs, answer a few optional questions in the For You tab afterwards. See Getting personalised recommendations.
If you stop before paying
Your account is kept. Log in at advicifas.org/prokit/login with the same email and password and you'll be taken back to the payment step. On the same device, choosing Continue Sign-Up on the Pro Kit page does the same. Unless you ticked the box in step 1, you'll also get up to three reminder emails over the following three days, each with a link that takes you back in.
