ADVICIFAS makes two separate products. They solve different problems, and you can use either one on its own or both together.
Pro Kit: living with a marker
Pro Kit (£3.99 a month) is a directory of banks, savings, phone contracts, car finance, insurance and money transfer providers you may be able to use while a CIFAS marker is on your record. It helps you get on with your life now.
ADVICIFAS Pro: getting it removed
ADVICIFAS Pro (£14.99 a month) is the system that challenges the marker itself. It reads your CIFAS report, writes letters in your name to the institution that filed it, and escalates when they don't put it right. You can read about it on the ADVICIFAS Pro home page.
Two separate subscriptions
If you have both, they are completely separate:
- Separate sign-ups and logins. Pro Kit is at /prokit/login and Pro at /pro/login, each with its own password.
- Separate Membership IDs. Pro Kit IDs start ADV-K-.
- Separate billing, each on its own date and with its own payment methods.
- Cancelling one does not cancel the other.
- Separate help centres. This is the Pro Kit one; Pro's is at advicifas.org/pro/help.
At the top of your Pro Kit dashboard you'll see a banner, "Got a CIFAS marker? Remove it like a Pro." It opens a short summary of ADVICIFAS Pro. It's there for information and you never need Pro to use Pro Kit.
