When you pay a payment request in the Client Portal, by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, your payment goes through our secure payment processor.
Your card details
Your card details go straight to our secure payment processor. We never see or store them. The card fields on your payment page sit inside the processor's own secure frame.
Only on your own account
A payment page only opens when you're logged in to your portal, and only on the account the request was made for. If someone logged in to a different account opens the link, they see 'Payment request not found'. If you share your account with a joint holder, either of you can pay from your own login.
A fixed amount, paid once
The amount is set by us when we make the request. Your payment page can't change it, and each request can only be paid once. Each request also has a date to pay by. After that the link expires and nothing can be taken.
Your bank's own check
Some cards need your bank to confirm the payment. If yours does, your bank's check opens over the page. Once you've confirmed it, you come back to your payment page and the payment is checked.
Payment verification
Every payment is checked with our payment processor before it's added to your funds. This usually takes a few seconds, while your page says 'Confirming your payment'. When it's confirmed, your page says 'Payment received', and we send you a New Funding Added notification and email. It also shows as Completed in your Transaction History.
If confirming takes longer than usual, your page says 'Still confirming'. You don't need to pay again. It will show in your funds, and we'll tell you, once it's confirmed.
Declined payments and refunds
If a payment doesn't go through, your page says 'Your last attempt did not go through' with the reason, and you can try again. If a payment is refunded, the money goes back to your card and you get a Refund Issued notification.
The 'Pay' button in a payment request email logs you straight in to your own portal, so don't forward the email to anyone.
We will never ask you for your portal login details, bank details, or full passwords by email, phone, or any other channel. If anyone contacts you claiming to be from ADVICIFAS and asks for this information, do not provide it and report it to us immediately.
