The Client Portal lets you know when something changes on your case, such as a new update, document, information request, package change or funding change. You'll see it in the portal, and most notifications are emailed to you too.
Viewing your notifications
Press the bell icon at the top of any portal page to open your Notifications. A number on the bell shows how many unread notifications you have.
Notifications are split into three tabs:
- Unread: notifications you haven't opened yet
- All: every notification you haven't archived
- Archive: notifications you've archived
Each notification shows what happened, how long ago, and a short summary.
Going straight to what changed
- Press the bell icon to open your Notifications
- Find the notification you want
- Press it to go straight to the page it relates to
The notification is then marked as read. For example, a new information request takes you to that request, and a new document takes you to your Documents page.
Managing your notifications
- On mobile and tablets: swipe a notification to the left to show 'Mark read' (or 'Unread') and 'Archive'. In the Archive tab, swipe to show 'Unarchive'. Pull the list down to refresh it.
- On desktop: hover over a notification to show buttons to mark it as read or unread, or to archive or unarchive it.
To change them all at once, use 'Mark all as read' in the Unread tab, 'Mark all as unread' in the All tab, or 'Unarchive all' in the Archive tab.
Notifications by email
Every email from the Client Portal comes from [email protected] and shows the sender name ADVICIFAS Client Portal. Search your inbox for that address to find them. If you have joint users on your account, they get these emails too.
Emails include a button that opens the relevant part of your portal.
In-portal and email notifications are core features of the Client Portal, so they can't be turned off for an individual account. The settings icon in your Notifications shows that notification settings are coming soon.
If you have any questions or concerns, email us at [email protected].
