What can we do for you today?

How to view updates, requests, and queries

Mobile users

  1. Open the dashboard (this is the first screen after logging in).
  2. Tap the menu icon (≡) in the top right corner of your screen.
  3. From the mobile menu, select ‘Case’.
  4. In the Case Menu (menu names appear at the top right of each submenu), tap ‘Updates’.

Desktop users

  1. Open the dashboard (this is the first screen after logging in).
  2. In the header, press ‘Case’.
  3. In the Case Menu, press ‘Updates’.

What you'll see

  • Third Party Accounts: Tabs labeled ‘Updates’ and ‘Requests’.
  • First Party Accounts: Tabs labeled ‘Updates’ and ‘Guidance’.

When you select 'Updates'

If you see additional tabs — ‘From ADVICIFAS’ and ‘From You’ — your account is a First Party account.

  • Updates from us appear in ‘From ADVICIFAS’.
  • Updates you submit appear in ‘From You’.

When you select 'Requests'

Any requests for updates you’ve submitted as well as our responses will show directly here.

Responses to update queries

Our responses to any queries you submit will show in the ‘Updates’ tab inside the actual update.

Your query can additionally be seen here too.

Mobile users

  1. Open the dashboard (this is the first screen after logging in).
  2. Tap the menu icon (≡) in the top right corner of your screen.
  3. From the mobile menu, select ‘Case’.
  4. In the Case Menu (menu names appear at the top right of each submenu), tap ‘Updates’.
  5. In the ‘Case Updates’ page, press ‘Request an Update’.
  6. Fill out your request.
  7. Press ‘Submit.

Desktop users

  1. Open the dashboard (this is the first screen after logging in).
  2. In the header, press ‘Case’.
  3. In the Case Menu, press ‘Updates’.
  4. In the ‘Case Updates’ page, press ‘Request an Update’.
  5. Fill out your request.
  6. Press ‘Submit’.

We’ll then process your request in accordance with our Terms and Conditions — meaning a response will be provided within 48 hours on weekdays.

  6. Press ‘Query’.
  7. Fill out the form with your query.
  8. Press ‘Submit’.

  3. In the Case Menu, press ‘Updates’.
  4. In the ‘Case Updates’ page, find the update you’d like to query.
  5. Press ‘Query’.
  6. Fill out the form with your query.
  7. Press ‘Submit’.

Adding updates is a function limited to accounts that are set as ‘First Party’.

If you do not see the ‘Add an Update’ button in the ‘Case Updates’ page, your account is set to ‘Third Party’.

  2. Tap the menu icon (≡) in the top right corner of your screen.
  3. From the mobile menu, select ‘Case’.
  4. In the Case Menu (menu names appear at the top right of each submenu), tap ‘Updates’.
  5. In the ‘Case Updates’ page, press the ‘Add an Update’ button.
  6. Select your case from the dropdown.
  7. Enter your update title, description, and upload your document(s) if you have any.
  8. Press ‘Add Update’.

Desktop users

  1. Open the dashboard (this is the first screen after logging in).
  2. In the header, press ‘Case’.
  3. In the Case Menu, press ‘Updates’.
  4. In the ‘Case Updates’ page, press the ‘Add an Update’ button.
  5. Select your case from the dropdown.
  6. Enter your update title, description, and upload your document(s) if you have any.
  7. Press ‘Add Update’.

Real-time notifications is a feature we’ve implemented into every Client Portal, regardless of account type.

You can see your notifications in two ways:

Notification Panel

  1. Open the dashboard (this is the first screen after logging in).
  2. Tap the notification bell icon to open your ‘Notification Panel’.
  3. Here you’ll see a list of your most recent notifications.

Via email

We’re unable to advise you on viewing the email notifications in your own email, but any emails from us are from [email protected] — you can use this to locate emails from your Client Portal.

The Client Portal is a vital part of our Client Care Services.

It is the only official channel through which we provide updates, documents, and progress reports.

Without registering and actively using the portal, you will not receive updates on your case, and our team will be unable to move your matter forward.
